Today, June 6, is the birthday of Mike G, who now turns 28.

A seasoned tenant of the rap game, Mike was a member of Odd Future before the group disbanded nearly three years ago. His first appearances with the group came on the clique's 2010 effort, Radical, and he's been kicking some serious bars ever since.

Armed with an agile flow and a relaxed delivery, Mike G has, over the last several years, also left his mark as a solo artist. In 2010, he dropped off his Ali mixtape, a project that includes features from familiar faces like Tyler, The Creator, Vince Staples and Earl Sweatshirt. Despite sharing tracks with all of these undeniably talented lyricists, Mike managed to standout with his own unique style.

In the years since, the newly minted 28-year-old has continually let loose new projects, including Verses Vol. 1, Verses II, Mike Check Vol. 2 and most recently, his 2018 EP, Chase Clouds. Here's to hoping he doesn't decide to quit any time soon.

In celebration of his birthday day, Mike will be performing at L.A.'s Low End Theory tonight, where he will likely be performing tracks from his newest project. Sounds like a great way to celebrate, and his fans will be there to turn up with him.

Happy Birthday, Mike G! Here's to many, many more.
