Bhad Bhabie has joined the chorus of rappers mourning XXXTentacion after his fatal shooting on Monday (June 18). The "Hi Bich" rapper took to Instagram last night (June 19) and shared her memories of the artist born Janseh Onfroy, and told TMZ she believes X's death should serve as a warning call to others like 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd.

"Yesterday I lost one someone very important to me. x was not only a close friend but he was a inspiration. He gave me the best advice and was always there for me when I needed him," she wrote. "Even when we would argue or he would call me yelling and mad or disappointed because I did some dumb shit he would always say 'Ight I love you mamas' before he hung up. The feeling of him being gone kills me. He would always be one call away."

This morning, TMZ caught up with Bhabie on the set of the music video for her new song with Ty Dolla $ign, "Trust Me," about toting glocks and killing parking lots. The gossip outlet asked her thoughts on X's fatal shooting. The Dr. Phil alumna responded emotionally, appearing choked up as she urged other rappers to stop glorifying violence.

"I feel like we just need to take this—as much as we're gonna miss him and everything—we just need to take this in. It needs to be a wake-up call to all these 6ix9ine's, and all these Trippie Redd's, and all these motherfuckas that want to act all hard," she said. "When people actually get ahold of them, it's not funny anymore. Like, we lost X because of this, because people want to act all big and bad. Like, is this what y'all needed? Now X is gone. Does this make any sense to you now? Do you understand this is real life, this is not no fucking video game?"

It's not clear what exactly Bhabie is referring to regarding Tekashi and Trippie, although both artists have found themselves in trouble with the law in recent months. Redd was arrested last week on assault and battery charges after allegedly pistol-whipping a woman in the head. 6ix9ine, meanwhile, is currently under NYPD investigation for his potential connection to a recent shooting targeting Chief Keef. The "Gummo" rapper has also been connected to attempted shootings at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn and outside a recording studio in Los Angeles.
