Beanie Sigel is taking a step out of the booth and into the bakery for his newest business venture: bagels.

The State Property frontman has teased his interest in the food industry for quite some time and it will apparently become a reality thanks to Danny DiGiampietro, owner of Angelo's Pizzeria, Philly Voice reports. DiGiampietro will be assisting the "Feel It in the Air" rapper on the venture, but there aren't many details to divulge about the partnership as it's in the early stages of development.

Nonetheless, that hasn't halted the excitement around the forthcoming business venture. Beans went on Instagram on Monday (June 4) to share the news with fans. "Beanies Bagels coming soon!" he captioned a photo of himself alongside DiGiampietro.

Beans now joins a long list of artists who have embarked on a career in the food industry including Diddy, Cam'ron, Rick Ross, and frequent collaborator Styles P.  The latter notably opened a juice bar with Jadakiss, back in 2014, in their native hometown of Yonkers. The LOX duo started the business as a way to prevail against the increased violence in their community.

The bagel business aside, Beans' musical offerings have been far and few in between since his collab with Dave East, "The Real Is Back." However, the rap vet hasn't slowed down on performing his hits for fans across the country. Beans is expected to make a victory lap this summer with his highly-anticipated joint concert featuring Styles P.
