Pusha-T's new album, Daytona, has only been out for a few hours but the project is already receiving high praise. On Friday (May 25), the Virginia native shared a letter from Diddy, who called the album a classic.

The handwritten letter, which was first posted by Pusha on Instagram and then Kanye West on Twitter reads, "A Modern Day Masterpiece. A Flawless Hip Hop Gem. Classic But Current. In Realtime! A TRUE Classic! #Daytona The Album #KingPush."

Diddy isn't the first rapper to label the newly-released album a classic. On Wednesday (May 23), Def Jam Head of A&R, Steven Victor, shared a screenshot of a group text message between him, Push and producer Mike Dean. During the conversation, Dean said Nas is a fan of the project. "Classic album. Nas said so," he wrote.

At only seven songs, Daytona is the shortest project Pusha has released, but according to the G.O.O.D. Music president, seven-song albums will become the norm for all upcoming G.O.O.D. Music releases. During a listening party on Wednesday, the Virginia rapper said the label won't follow the trend of artists dropping lengthy albums.

"Seven, you know, definitely the God number," he said. "All the projects coming out is seven. That's what we going for," Pusha continued. "You know G.O.O.D. Music anti everything. If everybody doing 18 tracks, we doing seven."
