Day one of the 2018 Rolling Loud Festival in Miami is in the books, and it looks like the lit festival is picking up right where it left off in 2017.

The first day of the event featured a stacked lineup of performances. J. Cole headlined the show and shut it down performing new tracks off his KOD album as well as older hits.

Young Thug put on a show, running through his lengthy hit list. Playboi Carti, fresh off the release of his new album Die Lit, employed the services of A$AP Rocky for his turnt set. Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Ferg, N.E.R.D, Jaden Smith, The Diplomats and more also rocked the crowd.

It was young Young Dolph who put on the most memorable performance of the night. During his set, he brought out two people who were recently fired from a coffee shop on Duke University's campus by one of the school's Vice Presidents for playing the rapper's "Get Paid" song during work hours. The Memphis artist blessed them with $20,000. "I know for a fact that that VP at that school, he getting money, but he ain't getting money like Dolph," the Tennessee MC told the crowd. "Until y'all get you a new job, until y'all find you a new job, I got $20,000 for y'all right now."

The lineup for Saturday (May 12) should be just as good with performances from Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa, Migos, Gucci Mane and more.
