Nicki Minaj made her highly-anticipated appearance on Saturday Night Live on May 19, and she did not disappoint. Barbie ended up performing her new single "Chun-Li" and bringing out Playboi Carti for their new collab "Poke It Out," from Carti's new album Die Lit.

Nicki put on big performances with detailed sets and several dancers. First, she broke out "Chun-Li" and went all in with the set up. Backed by a pagoda and some ill graphics, Nicki's set was accented by a handful of male dancers dressed like Raiden from Mortal Kombat. She starts off in a kimono robe, but later removes it to reveal something more sexy. Further into the song, Nicki turns up and adds two female dancers to the mix.

Instead of performing a new song like she had once promised, Nicki employed Playboi Carti for round two. They gave the crowd their duet "Poke It Out," making use of some sexy background dancers for the lit set.

Nicki continues to prep the release of her fourth album, Queen, which is slated to drop on June 15. She shared the title and release date for the forthcoming LP at the 2018 Met Gala a couple weeks back, after being mum on both details for months. There are also reports coming out that she may be returning to the silver screen in a movie co-starring Tina Fey.
