Meek Mill Bids Farewell to the Old Kanye West in Instagram Post
"To whom much is giving much is tested .... get arrested I guess until he get the message.. I feel the pressure under more scrutiny and what I do 'act more stupidly. #oldye #wemissyoubro them bars touched me in my cell," Meek wrote in the Instagram caption, which references inspirational lyrics from Ye's Graduation hit "Can't Tell Me Nothing."
The SuperPoorKids-crafted mural reads "R.I.P. 'Old' Kanye" before going on to list the a pair of dates. "2.13.04" signifies when the 40-year-old initially dropped his debut album. The other side borders a photo featuring a youthful backpack iteration of Yeezy saying "9.11.07," which was Gradution's release date. That began West's first career pivot evolving into the global superstar we know today. The artwork's bottom states "We Miss You."
Kanye sent the internet into a frenzy when he appeared on TMZ Live yesterday and made contentious comments regarding 400 years of slavery being "a choice." West also released a more informative nearly two-hour interview with Charlamagne Tha God on Tuesday (May 1), which gave fans a peek into his state of being.
