Brooklyn rapper Young Lito is keeping the momentum going after delivering his latest mixtape, In Due Time 2, earlier this year, with the release of his new video “My Angels”.

Lito puts his all into the track and accompanying PanoramicFilms-directed video as he takes a trip down memory lane and reflects on past memories and friends he lost throughout the years.

"You was the only older nigga I was cool with/The one I spoke to when I was goin' through shit/You used to let me rock your chain, hold the new whip/’Memba I almost crashed the Range actin' stupid," he raps while standing in a cemetery.

The rhymer shouts out many of his close friends who are either incarcerated or have died. A visual and song like this is interesting from Lito considering he was once one of Troy Ave’s main counterparts in the the BSB camp. But as time went by and unplanned occurrences such as the death of BSB member Ronald "Banga" McPhatter taking place in 2016, the two rappers parted ways as friends and nothing was the same. Lito even threw some jabs at Troy over the beat to Tee Grizzley’s huge hit “First Day Out.

These days, Lito is looking ahead. His recently released 15-track tape In Due Time 2, featuring Maxo Kream, Uno The Activist, Philthy Rich and Smoke DZA, proves he's solid on the mic. With summer just around the corner, Lito will have more new music for the streets.
