Suge Knight has been sitting behind bars awaiting trial, but according to an April 4 report from TMZ, the Death Row Records founder is currently in the hospital after being moved from a Los Angeles County jail on April 2 at around 11 a.m.

It's unclear why Knight had to be rushed to a hospital but he has had a number of health issues in the past, including being treated for blood clots in 2017. Knight also collapsed during a 2015 court hearing.

In related news, Knight's fiancee, Toi-Lin Kelly, was recently sentenced to three years in jail for helping Knight violate a court order. According to a report, Kelly helped Knight get around a court-ordered stipulation for phone calls from jail. The 37-year-old was charged with helping Knight set up interviews with BET producers about a Death Row documentary.

Kelly was also accused of communicating with Suge via a private investigator. "To me it's pretty blatant, and frankly, jaw-dropping," said Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Douglas Sortino.

As for Suge, he continues to wait for his murder trial following the 2015 fatal hit-and-run incident that left Terry Carter dead. According to Knight, the incident occurred after he feared for his life following an altercation with Cle "Bone" Sloan. While attempting to leave the scene, Knight hit Sloan and ran over Carter, killing him.
