Lil Uzi Vert Gives Nod to Lil Yachty on "Bandz (Bye Bye Birdie)"

Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing the possibility of releasing new music via cryptic Instagram posts and snippets on social media throughout 2018. Now Uzi's longtime producer DP Beats unearths a never-before-heard song from the Philly native with "Bandz (Bye Bye Birdie)."

The catchy tune surfaced on DP's SoundCloud page Wednesday evening (April 11), and features one extended verse from the "Sauce It Up" rapper on the concise two-minute song. We can assume the loosie didn't make the cut when it came to the 23-year-old's debut album, Luv Is Rage 2.

Uzi boasts about his lavish lifestyle over the DP Beats production and even gives a shoutout to his 2016 XXL Freshman compatriot Lil Yachty.

"I just pulled up on your bitch, yeah, I'm riding in the Benz/Why you mad ’cause I'm rich, I'm fine, nigga, you a bitch/Look at you you ain't on shit, look at me, hurricane wrist/With my nigga, Lil Boat, bead in his head like Hurricane Chris/Walk around diamond choker, just to match that diamond wrist," he rhymes.

Recently, Uzi joined forces with G Herbo for the"Who Run It (Remix)." The duo had previewed snippets of the track on social media last month.

Now, according to his Instagram page, it appears the Luv Is Rage artist has been without a phone for the past few weeks in Europe. However, he continues to post messages to his Instagram account through a friend to update fans on his status.
