The Based God is returning with more blessings. On Thursday (April 26), Lil B revealed his new project Platinum Flame is on the way.

We haven't gotten a new offering from the Cali rapper since 2017's long-awaited album Black Ken. But it looks like B is ready to drop a bunch of material on fans. "Platinum flame 80 percent done new Lil b music videos soon!!!!!! Love you!!!" he tweeted. "Shouts out to everyone who loves Lil b!! I love you for life!!!!!!!! Belive that !!! New Lil b music soon!!"

He followed that up with, "NEW LIL B MUSIC SOON!!!!! PLATINUM FLAME UP NEXT."

While Lil B had a crazy run of releasing tapes from 2011-2014, he's been spreading himself out in recent years as he has more stuff on his plate.

XXL recently flew out to Cali for a sit-down with the enigmatic rapper where he talked about his status in the game as a 12-year vet. "I’ve already taken the role as a role model in hip-hop," he said. "And I’m doing more to secure that role and solidify it in a more mainstream way, like doing some of the more normal things, I guess, like a role model would do. [It’s kind] of crazy to me when the folks [don’t embrace it]."

The interview was originally published in the Spring 2018 issue of XXL which is on newstands now.
