21 Savage Pays for the Funeral of Slain 3-Year-Old Boy
After a tragedy occurred in southeast Atlanta on Easter Sunday, 21 Savage has stepped up for a family dealing with a devastating loss.
On April 4, 2-year-old T’Rhigi Diggs was fatally gunned down in DeKalb County when a bullet struck him in the chest while he was riding in an SUV with his mother, Roshonda Craig. According to reports, Craig noticed several people with paintball guns before actual gunshots were heard, and believes her son was an accidental victim of crossfire.
21 Savage, who, according to Craig, is a family friend has reportedly paid for all of T’Rhigi's funeral expenses, which is scheduled for Saturday (April 7) . She says his offering was "touching and a weight off the family."
21 Savage has been doing a lot for the community lately. When he's not hopping on remixes of tracks like "Rover" and "Gucci Gang," he's been giving back to children. In March, the "Since When" rapper appeared on The Ellen Show and announced his new initiative, the 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign, which helps them "learn how to save money and make money, and open bank accounts for kids."
