After spending 18 days in a Georgia jail on aggravated assault and kidnapping charges, YoungBoy Never Broke Again is a free man.

According to the Ware County, Ga. Sheriff's Office, the rapper was released from the Ware County Jail on $75,000 bond Thursday (March 15).

While he's been silent on Instagram and Twitter following the news of his release, a video is circulating on social media in which a man who is presumably YoungBoy says, "Only thing they gotta do is free Kodak now."

The Baton Rouge, La. rhymer, born Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested on Feb. 26 after being extradited to Georgia from Tallahassee, Fla., where he was initially locked up on Feb. 25 on a fugitive warrant. The arrest stems from an incident at a hotel in Waycross, Ga., where YoungBoy got into an altercation with his girlfriend, Jania. The violent incident was caught on hotel surveillance footage and surfaced shortly after the rapper's initial arrest.

The video shows YoungBoy and Jania fighting in a hotel hallway. While she initially refuted claims that he assaulted her, the footage finds the 19-year-old 38 Baby rapper slamming his girlfriend to the ground outside of their room. She's seen attempting to run away from him, but he tries pulling her back toward him roughly. During the commotion, hotel guests called the police, but YoungBoy and his girlfriend had fled the scene. Blood was found in the hotel room following the assault.

After leaving Georgia, YoungBoy headed to Florida where he was scheduled to perform at The Moon nightclub. However, his tour bus was stopped by police before he could hit the stage. Authorities discovered the rapper had a warrant in Georgia for the alleged assault. He was then taken into custody and charged with kidnapping and aggravated assault.

On March 5, following his domestic violence-related arrest, prosecutors requested that a Baton Rouge, La. judge revoke the rapper's probation, while the Assistant District Attorney of the East Baton Rouge Parish deemed him "a threat to society and the safety of others." Prosecutors wanted him to serve a suspended 10-year prison term for his role in a non-fatal drive-by shooting that occurred in 2016.

During his recent stay in jail, his forthcoming album, Until Death Call My Name, was pushed back to an April 27 release date and he also let loose the Future-assisted song "Right or Wrong" earlier this week. His girlfriend Jania even previewed a track of her own while YoungBoy was behind bars, in which she raps about the assault. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we good," she begins on the track. "He was pulling me, I was pulling him/That's how we like to play (that's just us)."

Now that he's been released, YoungBoy will likely hit the studio to prepare for the release of Until Death Call My Name, a 13-track project featuring previously released songs "Outside Today" and "Solar Eclipse."

XXL has reached out to Atlantic Records for comment on YoungBoy Never Broke Again's release from jail, which they have confirmed.
