Following a two-month bid in jail, Trouble now has a lot to be grateful for. On Thursday (March 15), Mike Will Made It announced the rapper has signed with his Eardruma Records imprint on Interscope Records and praised his work ethic.

"No other producer x artist combo can pull off what Trouble and I are about to do," the producer said. "Edgewood is only the beginning. I really felt like it was time for a level up for Trouble."

Mike Will added, "I’ve been watching his grind for years now, since we were young as fuck, coming up in Atlanta on the music scene, trying to make something out of nothing. Trouble is the only person from the city who’s going to give you that raw, pure, honest, real rap, mixed with originality, new flavor, new flows and new lingo. He has the grind, work ethic, and dedication to back it up and the city knows.”

Trouble also celebrated the news on Instagram, thanking the producer and Interscope. "Though everyday is a celeBration. This 1 is much BIGGER & BETTER!," he wrote. "Smh I wanna thank my Brother @mikewillmadeit #Eardrummers & @interscope For Believing in me!! So many mills i dont know how to feel, you ill Mike Will!! 😜Its OFFICIAL!! All my struggles served a purpose.. Its Time!! #WordToSkooB."

The rapper was released from jail in January, after serving two months in Dekalb County Jail for drug possession. Trouble had originally turned himself in in November after being hit with multiple drug-related charges.

Following his release, Trouble appeared in the "Die Real" video with Ralo and Young Dolph. Before that, the artist got some help from Drake on the song "Bring It Back." It's uncertain if the track will appear on a project but last year, Mike Will said he and Trouble had recorded an entire project. "Me and Trouble did a whole project in like three or four days," the producer revealed.
