It's only been a little over a year since The Weeknd released his Grammy Award-winning album, Starboy, but it appears the Canadian singer is already gearing up for a new project.

Since earlier this month, The Weeknd has been posting photos of himself in the studio with captions like "Mixing." Now, the "I Feel It Coming" singer appears to be in the mastering stages. On Friday (March 23), The Weeknd posted three silent videos of himself in the studio and wrote "mastering" in the caption.

While the singer has been coy about details of the upcoming album, earlier this month, Travis Scott revealed he had heard the project already. "Abel new album is scray," he tweeted on March 2. "It's like when I first heard him for the first time. Fuckkkkk !!!!!"

The Weeknd was also recently spotted shooting a new music video in California. Footage of the singer in the small town of Taft, Calif. surfaced on March 22. In the video, Abel can be seen being tracked by a camera crew as he walks down a street. In another clip, the singer appears to be hovering above the street on a white device.

In related news, The Weeknd will be headlining the upcoming Coachella music festival in Indio, Calif. Along with Eminem and Beyonce, the crooner will perform on April 13 and April 20 during the two-weekend event.
