Snoop Dogg has never been shy about co-signing who and what he believes in, and he's making sure to use his platform to help one candidate in San Francisco's upcoming mayoral election. The veteran rap star endorses candidate London Breed for Mayor of San Francisco, despite the fact that he won't be able to vote for her.

Last week (March 8), the "Everything" MC tweeted a video that discussed the history of San Francisco's mayors since 1850, pausing at former Mayor Dianne Feinstein, who led the city from 1978-1988. In the caption, Snoop makes it clear that he is endorsing women for the election, giving his support to London in his last hashtag.

"Im standing wit the women of @ItsOurTimeSF because its time an accomplished woman led the city."#ItsOurTime #London4Mayor," he writes.

According to CBS San Francisco, Breed's campaign team is surprised by Snoop's endorsement, considering he won't be partaking in the election voting process. The California rapper can't vote for Breed in the upcoming election, as he is a resident of Southern California.

Those who live in the Northern California city will be able to cast their vote for one of the eight candidates in the race on June 5.
