Meek Mill's mother, Kathy Williams, Reverend Al Sharpton and other activists are scheduled to speak at a conference next week, which has been dubbed REFORM: Bringing Injustice to Light. It will stream worldwide live on Tidal beginning at 4 p.m. EST on March 13.

Justice League and various student-run organizations from The University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and Drexel University teamed up to launch the conference to help lead a discussion centered around America's criminal justice system. The event will take place at the Irvine Auditorium on The University of Pennsylvania's campus. REFORM looks to spark discussion around the cycle of incarceration in the urban cities through a series of thought-provoking panels.

Meek Mill's case will be thoroughly examined as a topic of discussion as evidence of a much needed nationwide reform. The Philly native's mother Kathy Williams and lawyer Joe Tacopina will provide an update on Meek's controversial case.

Other community leaders scheduled to speak at the event include Equal Justice Initiative executive director Bryan Stevenson, hip-hop artist Mysonne Linen, Justice League founding member Angelo Pinto, UPenn professor Marie Gottschall, civil rights attorney David Rudofsky, Frontline Dads executive director Reuben Jones and many more.

Meek finally received some good news this week, after The Philadelphia Inquirer published a list belonging to the city's District Attorney of corrupt officers in the city. One of the officers, Reginald Graham, arrested Meek in 2007 when he was 19-years-old. Meek is currently serving a four year sentence for violating the probation terms of that arrest.
