Lou The Human’s Pitch for 2018 XXL Freshman

Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

Staten Island's Lou The Human has been on the rap scene for a couple years now, but in recent months he's joined the ranks of New York's best new lyricists. Lou first appeared on the scene with "Brink," and has since gone on to release his debut project, Humaniac, which has racked up over 400,000 combined SoundCloud streams. His next musical effort is sure to solidify the charismatic rhymer as one of 2018's breakout rap stars.
