Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

Larry June just might be the healthiest rapper in hip-hop. It's an unusual angle to play, but one that's helped the San Francisco rapper with hilarious ad-libs generate an organic buzz that's culminated with his new EP, You're Doing Good, which dropped this month. The project's most wholesome record is "Healthy," a collaboration with Jazz Cartier that finds Larry boasting, "She want a healthy nigga." The record has been spun more than 600,000 times on Spotify. Previously dropping his solid 4 Deep No Sleep mixtape and Larry Two EP in 2017, Larry June is musically in tip-top shape.

Now that you've watched his pitch, it's time to vote. The 2018 XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class. Go here to make your vote count for your favorite artist.
