Before the 2018 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer, the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th Spot voting has officially launched, which means hip-hop's rising newcomers are vying for a spot on the 2018 XXL Freshman cover.

Dice Soho is among the new wave of rappers putting on for the city of Houston. With Asylum Records behind him and veteran producer Mike Dean working closely with him in the studio, he's got a squad working tirelessly to help take his brand to the next level. On his own, Dice is a certified spitter. Projects like his 2016 project, 0 Degrees, showcase his flex on the mic both solo and alongside peers like rap vet Paul Wall on "Come 'n' Go" and rising rapper Trill Sammy on "Just Watch"—to date, the visual for the latter song has over 15 million views on YouTube.

In 2017, he kept the releases coming with the Mike Dean-produced “Going Up" featuring Slim Jxmmi, the 24hrs collaboration on "Understand," and the banger "Too Much," to name a few. Now in 2018, Dice has stayed consistent with new music, dropped his "Wavy" freestyle and enlisting lauded director Hype Williams for his raunchy old "Giraffe." Look out for Dice Soho's new mixtape to arrive in the coming months.
