BlocBoy JB is poised for a breakout year in 2018. After teaming up with Drake for "Look Alive," the Memphis rapper is now getting a verse from 21 Savage for his song "Rover."

On Wednesday (March 14), footage posted online shows 21 Savage and BlocBoy shooting a video for "Rover." While the original version of the track only features JB, it appears the video version will receive a few bars from the Issa rapper.

In the short clip, 21 and BlocBoy can be seen in front of three white Range Rovers as BlocBoy hits the shoot dance. While it's difficult to make out what 21 Savage is rapping, the Atlanta artist can be heard spitting, "My baby mama wit' it, she'll mace ya."

The "Rover" video was shot in Atlanta on Tuesday (March 13).

XXL recently caught up with BlocBoy, who revealed to us how his collaboration with Drizzy came to be. “Drake posted me on the Instagram story in [Memphis'] Whitehaven performing 'Shoot,'" JB said. “He was really showing respect, so I showed my respect back and sent '100.' He said ‘You're my favorite rapper.’ I was like ‘Damn, I'm your favorite rapper, that's crazy!’”

As for his newfound popularity, BlocBoy said things haven't really changed too much. "It ain't been different really, it just keeps getting busier and busier," he told us. "It just ain't hit me yet, know what I'm sayin'?”

"Look Alive" currently sits at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, after hitting No. 5 on the chart.
