At long last, Rich The Kid's debut album is here, and if you've given it even a half spin, you've probably already realized the project is a whole lot of fun.
Titled The World Is Yours, the rapper's debut evokes images of a free-wheeling trap star living his absolute best life—just like Tony Montana did in Scarface. In the film, Montana lives in an extremely flossy Miami mansion, and there's a globe with the words, "The World Is Yours" orbiting around it. Rich's first album definitely captures that feeling, as the font on the album cover looks like a cheesy club sign you'd spot in Miami, and Rich rocks a Tony Montana-esque white outfit.
The lyrics on The World Is Yours push Rich The Kid's hustler's theme even further. Over the course of the 47-minute effort, Rich packs in more than a few quotables as he strings together an effort that's chock full of bangers. On the album's titular track, he serves up a motivational speech in lyrical form:
