Fresh off the success of his "Love N Hennessy (Remix)" with 2 Chainz and Nicky Jam, Peruvian-born artist A. Chal has inked a deal with Epic Records.

Along with his latest record deal, A. Chal is also working on a new project. The news comes on the heels of the "Love N Hennessy (Remix)" buzzing on Spotify. The song has amassed over 15.4 million streams and is averaging 1.4 million listeners a month.

Known for his blend of R&B, hip-hop, electronic and Latin music, A. Chal also mixes cultures by performing in both Spanish and English. In 2017, the artist dropped his On Gaz mixtape. The 11-song song project features guest spots from A$AP Nast, French Montana and Gazi Ghost.

Following the release of On Gaz, A. Chal hit the road for the On Gaz Tour. The 10-date trek kicked off on Aug. 23, 2017 in Santa Ana, Calif. before the artist made stops in Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, New York and more. The tour wrapped up on Sept. 17 in West Hollywood, Calif.

XXL caught up with A. Chal in 2016, where the artist revealed to us one of his biggest inspirations in hip-hop. "My favorite hip-hop artist of all time and 'til this day is DMX," he said. "He just had soul. A lot of soul. He could talk about anything and I knew he was being honest and I knew his only intention was to give you the truth and I respect that because I think that’s one of the hardest things to do as an artist," A. Chal added.
