The Trayvon Martin documentary series Jay-Z has been working on now has a new trailer.

Officially titled, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, Hov first revealed he would have a hand in the project last May. Initially thought to be a joint venture with The Weinstein Company, the production will now go through the Paramount Network.

Today (Feb. 26), the sixth anniversary of Martin's death, we get the trailer for the series. It is short and to the point, only offering commentary on the February 2012 killing of Martin, a 17-year-old Florida teen, whose life was infamously taken by George Zimmerman, along with the lasting image of the young man rocking a hoodie. "I don't want this to be swept under the rug," one voice says. "They say that time heals all wounds. It does not," someone else notes.

According the description: "The six-part non-scripted documentary series will be the definitive look at one of the most talked-about and controversial events in the last decade that spurred the impactful worldwide 'Black Lives Matter' movement."

Hov is executive producing the project along with Trayvon's mother, Sybrina Fulton, and father, Tracy Martin, as well as Chachi Senior, Michael Gasparro, Jenner Furst, Julia Willoughby Nason and Nick Sandow. It is co-directed by Furst and Nason. The trailer reveals the series will air in July 2018.

In related news, Hov recently traveled down to Florida to take part in the sixth annual Trayvon Martin Peace Walk & Peace Talk, put on by Trayvon's parents. While there, Jigga offered up some kind words about the slain teen. "It's a beautiful thing that Sybrina and Tracy are doing with their strength," Hov started. "Thank you, for being here. It's the support you guys are showing, and the strength that Tracy, Sybrina and the family are showing. We want to make sure we stand in support and never forget. Trayvon serves as a beacon of light to all the people out here. So you guys will never have to go through the pain and the hurt that these guys went through. His name will sit alongside some of the greats who lost their life to push our culture forward."
