Performing during the halftime show at the Super Bowl has been known to send artist's album sales and song streams sky rocketing, but for Meek Mill, the Philly rapper didn't even have to attend the game to benefit.

According to a report from Billboard, Meek's "Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)" earned 1.47 million streams the following day of Super Bowl LII after the Philadelphia Eagles took the field to the song. The track saw an increase of 71 percent in streams from Feb. 4 to Feb. 5.

The Eagles adopted "Dreams and Nightmares" as their unofficial theme song and used it as their walk-out music prior to beating the New England Patriots in the big game. "If you're going to go with a Philly song that's the one you're going with," said Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham.

Eagles player Derek Barnett also spoke about holding the city down for the rapper while he's in jail. "Meek, you know, he's locked up right now, so we have to hold the city down for him." Barnett added about the song, "It just gets us going. It gives us good energy. Just a little extra juice."

While Meek couldn't be in Minneapolis to see his hometown team win, the rapper did release a statement after the Eagles' victory. “Last night, I felt especially proud to be from the great city of Philadelphia," he said. "All the heart that the Eagles showed in winning the Super Bowl has given the best fans in the world real hope and inspiration and I’m truly humbled."

Meek is currently serving a two-to-four-year sentence for a parole violation stemming from two prior arrests.
