Kamaiyah is ready to take on 2018 with a bang, and she's recruiting ScHoolboy Q for a new track to kick off the new year. The Bay Area rapper is working in the studio with the TDE signee, and she let fans hear a preview of the track this week (Jan. 17).

Posting footage to her Instagram story of the two during their studio session, the 2017 XXL Freshman keeps the camera mostly on ScHoolboy, who is seen bopping his head to his verse on the forthcoming track, which plays in the background. So far, we're not quite sure of the details of the track, such as the title or when we can expect the official version, but it sounds like it could be a potential West Coast hit.

"[We] just fucking turning that party up," ScHoolboy is heard rhyming. "Used to have a glock in my Nautica/Nigga know the money be calling, uh."

Later on in her story, fans spot Kamaiyah trying to do the two-step with the rest of the crew in the studio. She even says that despite being from Oakland, she may still need some lessons with her fancier footwork.

The new collaboration with ScHoolboy follows in the footsteps of Kamaiyah's Before I Wake mixtape, which she released back in November.
