There may be no end to the list of ventures that Jay-Z and his company will be diving into, and now they're looking to start an entire retail conglomerate.

According to TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper's company, S. Carter Enterprises, has filed trademark application documents to secure the rights to his Paper Planes clothing brand. The new business move is being done as the company plans to create a retail environment that could formulate department stores, online shopping entities and even musical recordings.

The outlet also says that Hov and his team are hoping to hawk a slew of different items with the Paper Planes logo such as athletic gym bags, tour books, jewelry as well as a cosmetic line.

This is far from the first time that the 4:44 MC has filed a motion to trademark something within his brand. Hov's company recently filed documents to trademark the Jaybo character from his "The Story of O.J." music video of last year. Reports say they are looking to use the image on "T-shirts, sweaters, hats, blankets, shams, dinnerware, mugs, cocktail shakers and thermal containers."

Back in 2012, there were also reports that Jay and his wife Beyoncé were looking to trademark Blue Ivy's name. The power couple reportedly wanted to not only protect their first daughter's name, but also reserve it for future use on products.

We'll have to see what comes out of the Paper Planes brand if the application is approved.
