We all knew Lil B could cook, but now the rapper is showing off his culinary skills in the literal sense by hosting the new cooking show, Food Makes Me Happy.

Working in conjunction with director Colin Tilley and AwesomenessTV, the Based God's new show will feature him learning his way around the kitchen while under the tutelage of Top Chef’s Arnold Myint, Trap Kitchen’s Malachi Jenkins and Roberto Smith, and more. This should be good.

"One thing I always wanted to do with Lil B was make a show," Tilley told FADER about the show's conception. "It made so much sense to create a cooking show based around his personality and him learning how to cook. He has so much to say and has such a different outlook on life."

The last few months of 2017 have been very eventful for the Cali rapper. He released his long-awaited mixtape, Black Ken, back in August. He put a curse on an ex-NBA player, got kicked off of Facebook and made the news for getting stomped out by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and crew at the 2017 Rolling Loud Festival in the Bay Area. Now he's trying to close out the year with a bang. Hopefully, that's not the sound of the microwave exploding.

Will B's new venture be as dope as Action Bronson's food show? Time will tell.

The show premieres today (Dec. 9) on AwesomenessTV's YouTube and Facebook pages.
