Kyle’s Childhood Home Burns Down in California Fires

As the wildfires continue to ravish Southern California, Kyle revealed his childhood home was one of the houses destroyed by the flames.

The Ventura, Calif. native called into the Ebro Darden show on Beats 1 radio to reveal what happened. "Man, my childhood, like the house I grew up in, got burnt to the ground," the rapper said. "You know the hardest part, I wake up, I turn on the news, and I see them filming my street, and then I see them filming my house."

Kyle added, "I'm on my way to Ventura right now. I'm driving. I'm on the 101 headed that way. But I'm saying, I see just the wind out here is crazy. It has zero percent containment right now which means it hasn't stopped at all. They haven't been able to stop it whatsoever... scary part is you know this has been burning since about 6 p.m. last night and as of right now there's still zero percent containment. I'm looking outside right now the wind is crazy. "

As the "iSpy" rapper said, the fires continue to rage out of control in the Ventura area of California. According to The New York Times, at least four homes near the 405 Freeway had been destroyed, and more remain at risk. By Wednesday morning (Dec. 6), the fire had burned 65,000 acres and is threatening 12,000 structures.
