Following an assault in 2014, Keyshia Cole's three-year-long legal drama has finally come to an end and the singer will have to fork over a large amount of money.

According to a report from TMZ, Cole's lawsuit ended in a default judgement after the singer never showed up to court. Cole has been ordered to pay $100,635 to Sabrina Mercadel, the woman suing her.

Cole was originally arrested in September 2014, for assaulting Mercadel, after she noticed the woman in the apartment of her then-boyfriend Birdman. The singer reportedly went into a fit of rage and immediately attacked Mercadel, leaving scratches on her face.

Following the attack, Mercadel was revealed to have been a longtime employee of Cash Money Records and pressed charges against Cole. The victim then filed a lawsuit and sought punitive damages for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and premises liability.

The R&B star also faced 30 days in jail after she appeared in a Los Angeles court due to a warrant for a DUI she received in 2002. The warrant was previously not pursued but following Cole's 2014 arrest, police checked her file and noticed the decade-old warrant.

In October, Cole dropped her latest album, 11:11 Reset. The 11-track project features a number of rappers on the tracklist, including guest appearances from DJ Khaled, French Montana, Young Thug and Kamaiyah.
