Eminem, The Weeknd and Beyonce May Be Headlining Coachella 2018
So, apparently, next year's Coachella will be as big as it gets. According to Consequence of Sound, which has broken the news of Coachella headliners over the last few years, the 2018 Coachella will be headlined by Eminem, The Weekend and Beyoncé.
Neither of these three artists have confirmed or denied Consequence of Sound's report, but maybe they'll speak on it in the near future. The 2018 Coachella will take place from April 13-15 and April 20-22 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. The official line-up announcement is expected in early January.
For Queen Bey, performing at the 2018 Coachella would be keeping her promise. She was pregnant last year, so she couldn't take the stage at the typically star-studded festival. For Slim Shady, it means performing in front of his biggest audience in years. Headlining the 2018 Coachella would also give Weeknd another chance to deliver an epic performance of his fantastic Starboy album. Of course, none of this has been confirmed yet.
Eminem is coming off releasing his Revival album, which dropped just last Friday (Dec. 15). The new project finds the rapper evaluating the idea of White privilege, his own personal problems and reconciling his place in the 2017 rap landscape. If Em's planning a world tour, maybe a performance at next year's Coachella would be a great way to start things off.
