Former XXL Freshman Vic Mensa is a man of inumerable talents, and one of them is singing his ass off. He showcased his vocal chops on his debut album, and once again while turning in a dope cover of Radiohead's "Karma Police" on BBC's Radio 1 Wednesday (Nov. 1).

Sitting in front of a piano in a dimly lit room, Mensa jumps into the song, and not too surprisingly, delivers a strong rendition of the Thom Yorke-sung classic. Their tones are just about even, and he even manages a few of the faint high notes Yorke hits on the original. Pretty impressive stuff.

"This is what you'll get/This is what you'll get/This is what you'll get/When you mess with us," he croons.

If you've been following the Roc Nation rapper from the jump, you're probably not all that surprised he's able to do stuff like this. JAY-Z definitely wouldn't be. Speaking at the listening party for Mensa's debut album, The Autobiography, Hov spoke on the Chicago native's generational talent.

"Vic is a very special talent. He can do everything – sing well, rap well," the rap icon said. "He even engineers himself sometimes. He’s an incredible artist, like a once in a lifetime artist.”

Big words, but Mensa shouldn't have too many issues living up to them. Listen to Mensa's cover Radiohead's "Karma Police" below.
