It's been a lengthy wait for fans who have been anticipating Shy Glizzy's upcoming Quiet Storm EP, but he's finally giving them a ray of hope. The Washington D.C. native is ready to release the long-awaited project, which will drop Dec. 12.

The Glizzy Gang Label CEO, in partnership with 300 Entertainment, previously gave fans a preview of what's to come on the EP while dropping his "Take Me Away" track, which came shortly after his close affiliate 30 Glizzy was tragically killed in September.

Earlier this year, Glizzy dropped The World Is Yours project after changing his name to Jefe for rebranding purposes. Now, he's back and better than ever as Shy Glizzy again. Two months ago, the rapper spoke with XXL about his excitement for the Quiet Storm release. "Definitely a new project this year, Quiet Storm very soon." he shared. "I'm excited, probably the most excited I ever been in my life. I'm back on my bullshit."

It's definitely a big year for Glizzy regardless, as he just received a Grammy nomination, being that he is a feature on Goldlink's "Crew" hit single, which was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance.

See the official announcement of his Quiet Storm EP release date below, and be sure to stay tuned when it arrives on Dec. 12.
