Detroit is probably the hottest region in rap right now. Though Tee Grizzley has become the city's most visible street rapper to emerge in the past year, there's also FMB DZ, Babyace Ray, Team Eastside Peezy, BandGang, Dame Dot, Molly Brazy, and tons of others, including the inimitable Sada Baby.

Sada is close with Tee Grizzley (they're actually on tour together as we speak), but for D.O.N. he opted to go without any rap features. Dam Jonboi and Da Realest Sounds produced most of the project, which Sada envisions as a double-disc tape. "The first ten songs are #SkubaSteve the last seven are #SkubaRuffin the ppl who really know and love my music understand what just was explained," he explained on Instagram.

Most Detroit street rappers adhere to a specific sound, but Sada's flow is more elastic than most, and the freewheeling dance moves he busts in his music videos lend an air of lighthearted humor to his material.
