Nicki Minaj took her turn at breaking the internet when she appeared on a raunchy cover for Paper magazine a couple of days ago. Based on the 1.5 million likes she got when she posted the cover onto her Instagram account, we'd say she succeeded.

The new winter 2017 cover features Nicki with two other versions of herself, all scantily clad and posing in suggestive positions. Appropriately enough, this issue is designated as Paper's second Break The Internet issue. The first featured Kim Kardashian-West.

Nicki herself played on the ménage à trois theme of the magazine cover and her rap name with her Instagram caption. "Wanna Minaj? @papermagazine photos by @ellenvonunwerth #BreakTheInternet edition," she wrote.

Nicki's been popping up everywhere ahead of the release of her Pinkprint follow-up, due out some time in the near future. One of those places was the 20th anniversary edition of XXL Magazine. Speaking with us at the cover shoot, Nicki said she wasn't all that surprised that rap's become as popular as it has.

"It’s no surprise to me that hip-hop is the biggest music genre right now because hip-hop has always been barred from so much," she said at the time. "I think people deem the hip-hop culture to be super credible and authentic, and I think people always want to get a piece of what is authentic. So, you know, I think it only makes sense."
