The world lost a talented young artist when Lil Peep died Wednesday night (Nov. 15) at the age of 21. Fans and rappers alike have mourned Peep in the hours after his death, and now, Bella Thorne, who was rumored to have dated Peep at some point in the recent past, has posted her own touching tribute to the late rapper.

“I just wanted to say anybody out there who is a Lil Peep fan, you guys know how talented he was, you guys know [how] great he was... well he was even more fucking great as a person,” Thorne said in her heartfelt Instagram story.

The exact nature of Thorne's friendship with Peep hasn't been revealed, but the two were spotted kissing over the summer. Although we don't know much more, it's clear she's feeling his loss.

Speaking on Peep's death, First Access Entertainment CEO Sarah Stennett, whose company partnered with Peep last year, echoes the sentiments of people from all around.

“I am shocked and heartbroken," she says in a statement. "I do not believe Peep wanted to die, this is so tragic. He had big goals and dreams for the future which he had shared with me, his team, his family and his friends. He was highly intelligent, hugely creative, massively charismatic, gentle and charming. He had huge ambition and his career was flourishing. I have spoken to his mother and she asked me to convey that she is very, very proud of him and everything he was able to achieve in his short life. She is truly grateful to the fans and the people who have supported and loved him.”
