What year is this again? This morning (Nov. 24), Ma$e set the internet on fire by releasing a new record aimed at former friend, turned frenemy, and now all out foe, Cam'ron.

The track, titled "The Oracle," finds Murda spitting venom over JAY-Z's Blueprint 2 title track. He doesn't hold anything back snapping, "Tax know you as the niggas that snitch on the Roc/D.C. niggas know you as just a nigga they shot/OG niggas don’t have no history with you on the block/And everybody seen the footage I got."

It gets worse. He goes on to call out Cam's past beefs and shady ways, and he even makes some very odd sexual claims against Killa.

Mase's song appeared to come out of nowhere, but he could be pissed over Cam name-dropping him in the intro to his latest project, The Program. On the song, "It's Killa," the Purple Haze MC raps about a situation where he claims he had to protect Ma$e from the boyfriend of some woman he was creeping with. "I ain't give a damn, yeah Cam I was gung-ho/Got this nigga home and he passed me a hundo ($100 dollars?!)/Told him straight up I ain't feeling him/Let me curve this nigga 'fore I end up killing him," Cam spits.

Needless to say, the whole situation got the internet talking. Several rappers hopped on social media to chime in on the situation. Joe Budden tweeted, "Mase had enough."

Fellow Harlem native Smoke DZA commented, "Murda and Killa shootouts in 2017 ‍♂️," before adding a "funny story" about Betha getting robbed.

Battle rapper Daylyt seemed to be all for it. "Little do y'all know what mase just did can shift the entire hip-hop scene," he tweeted. "If cam reply hip-hop will become a warzone agin ! That's what we need."

Cam'ron has since responded to the diss, at least preliminarily.
