As he's starting to wrap up a monumental year, Gucci Mane is already putting in hard work on his forthcoming album, El Gato: The Human GlacierAfter announcing the new title a couple of weeks back, the Atlanta rapper claims that he received a whopping $10 million extension from his label, Atlantic Records, for the project.

Guwop reveals the alleged extension on Twitter, writing a thank you directly to the label's account.

"Thank You @AtlanticRecords for the 10 million dollar extension #ELGATOTheHumanGlacier," he writes. "I appreciate It sincerely."

El Gato will be following in the footsteps of Gucci's latest Mr. Davis album release this past month. He also recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Keyshia Ka'oir, in their BET wedding special, The Mane Event, making for a very busy fall season for the veteran hitmaker.

On top of working on his forthcoming project, Gucci, who covered XXL's 20th anniversary issue, is also lending some of his signature bars to other artists, including an upcoming collaboration with 50 Cent called "On Something."

We'll have to wait and see what comes of Gucci's next project now that he has allegedly been given the $10 million extension.

XXL has reached out to Atlantic Records for comment.
