UPDATE: (Oct. 7, 3:25 p.m. EST)

We now know what Marvel and The Weeknd have up their sleeves. After a preview last week, Abel has revealed the full cover of his own StarBoy comic which debuts today (Oct. 7) at New York Comic-Con.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Weeknd has hooked up with comic-book giant Marvel for something that will be revealed at the upcoming New York Comic-Con.

Abel teased the collab on Instagram, posting a picture of what looks to be a section of his face in comic-book form. He captioned the pic, "Comic-Con New York || October 7th @marvel." He didn't give anymore details on the upcoming showcase.

Marvel has been very keen on linking with urban artists recently via their variant covers. In the past, they've hooked up with everyone from Nas, Dr. Dre and Missy Elliott, to Kevin Gates and Chance The Rapper. It will be interesting to see what they have in store for the "Can't Feel My Face" singer.

In related news, Weeknd debuted a new collaboration with H&M a couple weeks back. The fashion line linked with the singer for their fall 2017 collection, which he curated. The brand new collaboration is made up of 18-pieces, including a wide variety garments for the lowering temperatures like parka coats, varsity jackets, bomber jackets, hoodies, crew neck sweaters, graphic t-shirts and more. "I love the sense of identity that runs through the collection," said the XO artist about the line. "This collection is the same as with everything that I do – it’s about the right detail, and a total feeling of authenticity.”

That came on the heels of the singer hooking up with Puma on a new line. Needless to say, he's in high demand.
