Love Beats Rhymes , which is a film with RZA's movie with Azealia Banks, finally has a release date. Banks revealed it on her Twitter account on Tuesday (Oct. 10), listing Dec. 1 as the day fans can see the RZA-directed flick starring herself, Common, Jill Scott, Lucien Laviscount, and Hana Mae Lee.

"Love Beats Rhymes will be in Select Theaters, on Digital and On Demand December 1. Available on DVD January 2." tweeted Banks. Sounds good to us.

The film follows the exploits of a 25-year-old Brooklyn rapper by the name of CoCo (Banks). Like pretty much every rising rapper, she has music industry dreams, but the thing is, her parents want her to finish school. Sounds solid.

Banks' announcement arrives about a year after she and RZA had something of a falling out. The incident that spurred their happened at actor Russell Crowe's party, where Banks claimed to have been assaulted by Crowe. At the time, RZA claimed that Banks had acted erratically and treated guests at Crowe's party with a lot of disrespect. According to him, it was at that point Crowe removed her from the party. He also admitted that Crowe spit at her.

It remains unclear what the release of Love Beats Rhymes means for their relationship at this time.
