After a sold-out first week of Lorde's Melodrama World Tour dates in the United Kingdom, it was revealed that Run The Jewels would be joining the pop star on the North American leg of her trek.

While the pairing may seem odd, Lorde has collaborated with the hip-hop world before. In 2014, she teamed up with Stromae, Q-Tip and Pusha T for the song "Meltdown," and most recently remixed "Homemade Dynamite" with Khalid, Post Malone and SZA.

The duo of El-P and Killer Mike are currently on their own tour which runs until Nov. 16. Following the end of their trek, RTJ will link up with Lorde in 2018 for 23 shows. The artists will make stops in Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C. and more. Tickets for Lorde's new dates will be on sale for the general public on Friday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
