So it looks like Birdman is making some pretty big changes. Recently, the Cash Money Records founder removed the grills from his mouth and showed the world his pearly whites on Instagram. Now, he's also removing his face tattoos, too.

"Takin tattoos off my face #livinlegend #lifestyle #RICHLIFE #Bryanwilliams #kali," wrote Birdman in an Instagram post on Thursday (Oct. 12). He hasn't gotten them off yet, but considering everything he's done recently, that move is coming really soon, and he'll let us know when it does.

Birdman's face tattoos have become sort of a notable part of his brand. He's got the star on the side of his face, the cross above his nose and, of course, his tear drop at the edge of his eyelid. He's got more, too, but they'll all be gone soon enough.

In other Birdman news, the rapper recently appeared on the cover of XXL's 20th anniversary issue. During the interview for his cover story, which was written by XXL Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Satten, he explained the role XXL plays in hip-hop.

"XXL helped a lot of people," Birdman says in his XXL Fall 2017 cover story. "Y’all helped notarize a lot of no-names and even what y’all do with the cover with these Freshmen, y’all really changed they lives. The ones that y’all pick, to me, a lot of them have become successful and some of them haven’t. But, the ones that y’all do pick get a chance to become something. So, I think what y’all do with that is priceless. I salute you for that ’cause y’all."
