It looks like fans won't have to wait too long to get their cyber-hands on some new Tory Lanez music. Just a bit over a month after announcing the completion of his new album, the Toronto rapper used his Twitter account to let fans know that Sept. 22 is the day they can expect to hear music from the project.

"Music from my album starts dropping 9/22 ... enjoy," Lanez tweeted recently. He didn't offer anything else in the way of details, but at least we know we don't have to wait much longer to hear some of what he's been cooking up.

The release of a new album will be the culmination of what's been a pretty big year for Lanez. At the top of 2017, he dropped two new mixtapes, Chixtape IV and The New Toronto 2. Perhaps just as importantly, he's squashed his beef with Drake, which had been bubbling for at least a couple of years. Drizzy even brought Lanez to the stage at this year's OVO Fest.

“Me and this guy right here. We had problems with each other, we had never even met each other. I met the man, and he’s a great guy,” Drizzy told the crowd of his past beef with his fellow Toronto MC.

All-in-all, things are going pretty well for Lanez, and they should only get better when he drops some new music in a little under two weeks. Should be dope.
