Hip-hop stands by their own. After Los Angeles Lakers player Lonzo Ball made the surprising statements "Don’t nobody listen to Nas no more" and "Real hip-hop is Migos and Future" earlier this week, T.I. is speaking out to defend the Queens MC.

"My Boi u reaching like a muuuufucka!!! Lakers might fuck around & piss test you behind this one cuzz @Nas Whattup wit Bruh? #LegendsNeverDie," Tip wrote in a tweet posted Saturday (Sept. 2).

While views on music are highly subjective, 19-year-old ’Zo's comments about Nas are blasphemy in the rap world considering he's dropped classic albums like Illmatic, he is one of the genre's best lyricists and is still making an impact on the game more than 20 years in.

T.I. isn't the only one who thinks Lonzo Ball's remarks are far-fetched. Earlier today, Lil B spoke his mind in a series of tweets. "Lonzo ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers, nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team - Lil B," he wrote on Twitter, threatening the NBA player with his famed curse. "Didnt the lakers just trade a snitch deanglo Russell? Lakers front office what's y'all problem? Step ur PGs up. LONZO WATCH UR MOUTH - Lil B."

’Zo initially made the comments regarding Nas, Future and Migos during the first episode of Ball in the Family, a reality show starring himself and his dad, LaVar Ball, mom and three brothers.
