Lil Wayne's sports agency continues to win big. Very recently, Weezy signed undefeated welterweight boxing star Erickson Lubin to his Young Money APAA Sports & Entertainment Agency. TMZ reported the news on Wednesday (Sept. 27).

Young Money APAA, which launched back in 2016, announced their most recent signing a couple of days ago. "Welcoming @EricksonHammerL to the #YMAPAA family. Our 1st boxer and the world will know why on October 14th! 💯," they said in a tweet.

This is a huge move for Weezy's agency. Erickson's boxing record currently stands at 18-0, with a staggering 13 knockouts. He's currently gearing up to fight against Jermell Charlo for the super welterweight championship at the Barclays Center on Oct. 14. In other words, he's the deal.

The signing of Lubin also means Weezy's still doing some heavy lifting even after suffering from a few seizures earlier this month. Although the Wayne's doctors wanted him to take some time off, it appears Weezy didn't take the advice to heart. In an interview, his manager, Cortez Bryant, explained that holding back isn't in the Young Money general's DNA.

“I tell him that all the time but I don’t think that’s gonna work, man,” Bryant said at the time. “He a workaholic. That’s what got him to where he is now man. He’s just [in] the studio all the time trying to make music, get through this situation and give his fans what they need.”
