Lil B Warns Lonzo Ball of BasedGod Curse for Making Controversial Remark About Nas

Los Angeles Lakers player Lonzo Ball has been in the hot seat this week for his controversial claim that no one listens to Nas anymore and Future and Migos are real hip-hop. His words didn't sit well with Lil B, who's weighing in on the matter and warning the hoops star about his famed BasedGod Curse.

Ball made the surprising statements during the first episode of his family-driven reality show, Ball in the Family. “Y’all outdated, man. Don’t nobody listen to Nas no more,” he said. “Real hip-hop is Migos and Future.”

Lil B couldn't let such a comment slide and put Ball on notice via Twitter Saturday (Sept. 2), seemingly threatening him with the curse. "Did lavar ball really say something about nas that was not of the highest respects concerning hip hop? You have been warned #cursed - Lil B," the rapper tweeted, mistakenly referring to Lonzo Ball as his dad, LaVar Ball.

"Lonzo ball is a few seconds away from being cursed his rookie year on the lakers, nas is hip hop and always relevant, watch ur team - Lil B," he continued. "Didnt the lakers just trade a snitch deanglo Russell? Lakers front office what's y'all problem? Step ur PGs up. LONZO WATCH UR MOUTH - Lil B."

This isn't the first time Lonzo Ball has shocked hip-hop purists with his remarks. In July, the 19-year-old admitted he liked 21 Savage's Issa Album better than JAY-Z's 4:44.

As far as the BasedGod Curse goes, Lil B recently lifted it from Houston Rockets' James Harden. The Black Ken rapper officially cast the curse on Harden two years ago because Lil B felt the baller stole his lauded cooking dance.
