In May of 2016, Gucci Mane was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Terre Haute, Ind. He had been serving a three-year sentence after pleading guilty to aggravated assault following an attack on a fan in an Atlanta nightclub in March 2013. Last year, he was sentenced to three years of probation for a federal gun charge, but now, Fader reports Guwop's probation has ended two years early.

Last month, Gucci's legal team filed documents requesting early termination of his supervised release, and on Aug. 23, Judge Steve C. Jones granted the motion. Gucci's probation will officially end Sept. 19.

Everyone who's been watching Gucci for the last year knows how much he's turned his life around. His book, The Autobiography of Gucci Manedrops Sept. 19, and he's currently on tour with The Weeknd. He's also dropped a ton of projects in the past year, and he's got another one, Mr. Daviscoming later this month.
