Earl Sweatshirt fans are currently awaiting a new project from the rapper, but it looks like his mind is wrapped around the music of one of his peers. While performing his set at the Day N Night Festival recently, the Los Angeles native reveals that he has been listening to a lot of Lil Uzi Vert lately.

After hitting the stage to perform, as well as debut some new songs, Sweatshirt has the audience cheer for the "Money Longer" entertainer, before revealing that he's the "only shit" he listens to.

"We making noise for Uzi Vert on this stage, nigga, fuck the bullshit," he tells the audience. "That's the only shit I listen to, bro, I can't even front."

It's been a little over two years since fans last heard a project from Sweatshirt, as he released his sophomore album, I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside, back in 2015. Being that he performed some new, unreleased songs during his festival set, it's a good sign that we may be getting a new project in the very near future, as that tends to be one of his habits.

The West Coast rapper recently dropped a track called "Hat Trick," which he originally performed in May.
