Most rappers would not like being the butt of jokes, no matter how seemingly innocent they may be. Especially if said jokes are being levied by a stranger. But Chance The Rapper is different. The Chicago MC recently endorsed a parody Twitter account that pokes fun at his tweets.

Earlier this week, the bogus Chano account @ChanceFrom79th popped up on Twitter and quickly gained traction. The page setup looks identical to the Coloring Book rapper's, except for the handle. Some fans were even fooled by the account which wound up racking up thousands of retweets. "Canceling plans to read is ok. skipping a party for the gym is ok. staying home to cook is ok. lets encourage it & respect self improvement," one tweet that has over 267,000 retweets reads.

The page is reportedly run by a teen from Minnesota. Instead of coming out against the fake account, the real Chano is giving it his blessing. "I hereby Formally endorse this fake page," Chance recently tweeted.

The quasi fan page's user was more than ecstatic about the endorsement, posting a GIF of an excited clip of Chance, along with the caption, "When @chancetherapper Endorses you."

Outside of music and making fans' days, Chance continues to strive to make the world a better place. He recently announced he will be launching an award show that will honor educators. “Every contribution … brings this city and this nation closer to providing a well-rounded quality education for each and every child,” Chance said in the video of the event. “Funding quality education for public [school] students is the most important investment a community can make.”
