Now that Cardi B is coming up on the charts and in the hearts of music fans, she is getting love from some unexpected places. Earlier this month, the Bronx rapper met Beyoncé at the 2017 Made in America Festival in Philly, and we're finally getting Cardi's reaction to the big moment.

While speaking with the Associated Press, the female MC lists Queen Bey as the one celebrity who she is most surprised is a fan of hers, and gushes about having the chance to meet the Lemonade superstar.

"I mean, I'm surprised Beyoncé liked me, ahh! I met Beyoncé!" Cardi exclaims.

Along with praising Beyoncé, Cardi also talks more about her album coming out in October, which she says comes with a lot of pressure, being that she's already reaching major success with her smash single, "Bodak Yellow."

"I have an album coming. It will be dropping in October. I'm an October baby, yes... I'm a little nervous to put the project out, but I think it's going to do pretty good."

As of this week, "Bodak Yellow" is now at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart after previously peaking at No. 3 in the last month. Fans are still hoping to see it reach the top spot on the chart in the coming weeks, but she may have some stiff competition.
